Project Goal:

"Presenting Folk Art Over Distance Education" seeks to bring together the Folk Art scholars as they share programs of history, heritage, creative writing, storytelling, and music and song with students and teachers in Nebraska.

Project Objectives:

  • To increase understanding of distance education system and how it will enable speakers and participants to interact as part of a Folk Art presentation.
  • To develop a web based enrichment plan to support the Folk Art scholars' presentations.
  • To present a series of Folk Art programs to students in grades 4-12.
  • To share the outcomes of the "Presenting Folk Art Over Distance Education" program with other teachers and scholars.
