2. Blackboard discussion topic of the quarter was presented by Nancy Stritt. Nancy shared that she used the calendar that is part of the Blackboard account. She used the calendar as a reminder to her students when projects were due. To add a date to everyone's calendar, she went to the control panel. Students can also add dates to their personal calendars. Students add to their calendars at the UNK opening site.

3. Questions about Blackboard:

• Can questions on Blackboard be done on a random basis?
• Can times be set in the calendar?
• What do we need to do to import the lessons?
• Need some more inservice on gradebooks.

4. Director comments about the end of the project:

• Please have your students complete the post survey - http://ois.unomaha.edu:591/ollearn/
• Please complete the post survey reports for teachers.
• Blackboard will be available to you and your district's next year through a NCLB grant. Four other teachers at your school will also have access to Blackboard.
• A pre-fall distance education meeting will be held on August 5 for all distance education instructors.
• Participation stipend will be sent to your schools in May. Check your June payroll check.
