TVDEC Sample Letter to Parents
Student Contract Sample

As the Tri-Valley Distance Education Consortium (TVDEC) network will be offering semester classes and enrichment lessons, it is important that parents/guardians and students understand the student conduct code and sign a permission form agreeing to this policy. If you have any questions concerning the conduct policy, please contact an administrator at your local school district.

As part of the classes and presentations, students may have the opportunity to do production activities. Samples of student's work may be requested and these samples may be added to the school district or Tri-Valley's educational web sites. As your child's work fits within copyright limitations, we must have permission from you the parent/guardian to post these sample works. (Note: Student's identity will be protected as full names will not be listed by their projects on web sites.)

For many students involved in this class or enrichment activity, this will be a first time experience using the distance education system. It is hoped that this unique opportunity for students to share with their classmates, students at other sites, and different instructors will prove to be a positive and rewarding experience for all.
